This is the perfect tour. Less than a full day tour will not allow you to make a leisure and attentive visit and enjoy the best that that Sintra can offer.
Honestly, it is a 60 miles trip, about 2 hours on the road, but we
strongly suggest this tour regardless of the fact that you have to
undure our company for 7 or 8 hours in the very least...

Sintra is a town of romance, history, sophistication and royal heritage.
It is popular amongst visitors from all over Portugal, southern
Europe and beyond, who flock here during the summer months
to explore its palaces and castles and relax on the beautiful sandy
beaches beyond.
Whether you are visiting Sintra for a day or a week, the memories
of its beautiful historic attractions will stay with you for a lifetime.
PENA PALACE - SINTRA
The colourful dream-like palace is the most iconic and most
photographed palace in Sintra. It is one of the best examples of
nineteenth century Romantic architecture anywhere on the continent,
visible for miles around, as far as Lisbon some thirty kilometres away on a clear and sunny day.
The Pena Palace is more than worthy of it UNESCO World Heritage
designation and is one of the officially recognised Seven Wonders
of Portugal.
QUINTA DA REGALEIRA - SINTRA
Where the fairy-castle style architecture, water features, grottoes and magical secret passages are interwoven with exquisite landscaped
greenery to dramatic effect.
MOORS' CASTLE - SINTRA
Still impressive - awesome view from the top, the idea was to spot
the enemies as far as possible.
This used to be a moors' fortress in the early days but it is quite safe now as we managed to get rid of them with one of our first kings.
MONSERRATE PALACE AND PARK - SINTRA
In 1856 Francis Cook, an English millionaire buys the land. The property is finally going to meet its height. The palace is rebuilt
according to the neo-Moorish style. He also created a botanic garden under the inspiration of the English Romanticism. The work is carried
by the landscape painter William Stockdale, the botanist William Nevill and the gardener James Burt. Together they created a nature wonder.
They combine native species such as arbutus, cork oak and holly with plants from different parts of the world. Therefore visiting Monserrate Park also means enjoying a botanic journey through the five continents.
ROCA'S CAPE (CABO DA ROCA)
westernmost point of Continental Europe.
Have you ever been curious to discover where does the European Continent end? How does it feel to be at the edge of Europe? Have you ever felt the power of the Atlantic Ocean with its powerful waves breaking with enormous force against the rocks of the Cabo?
There is a nice and pleasant cafetaria here for a cup of coffee.
A curious but interesting detail - Cabo da Roca usually a quiet place exception for the hundreds (literally) of tourists that come here
every day, on Sundays, it's a completely different sight. Hundreds of motorcycles gather here, a weekly motorcycling meeting leaving
absolutely no space to park (even for a bike). It's a colourful event, noise, colours, bikers gossip. Interesting, a sign of the
times....
GUINCHO - THE ATLANTIC ON YOUR DOORSTEP
This is one of the greatest beaches in Europe with its clear skies, blue water, perfect breeze, warm white sand, good surf, not crowded.....
Guincho is always stunning, beautiful. Backed by dunes and with some of the best rollers in Europe, it is a true paradise for surfers.
The water is clean and the Atlantic waves pound onto the sand even
on the calmest of days, which is why World Surfing Championships have
taken place here.
Terrace-restaurants overlook the beach and surrounding coastline.
CASCAIS
A postcard-perfect cosmopolitan little beach town.
Cascais is the perfect location for days on the beach and nights on the town.
Formerly a quaint fishing village, today is a colorful cosmopolitan town with the loveliest beaches you can find anywhere and elegant
pedestrian streets, luxuriant villas, fashionable shops, traditional restaurants and bars, where you can choose between the tasty spicy
charcoal grilled chicken and seafood delicacies.
We stop here for a stroll on the seafront, to visit the several beaches, have a light snack if you wish, (cakes and icecream here are the best you can find anywhere)
ESTORIL
In Estoril we will drive around the Casino Gardens and main building,
A slow drive now back to Lisbon will let you see some of the best beaches and luxurious residential areas and villas overlooking the bay, stopping in Carcavelos and Oeiras.
Entering Lisbon we will drive through BELEM, JERONIMOS, these being among the most representative monuments in Lisbon.
